(site buildout ongoing)

I started birding heavily in July 2017. Around April 2018 I realized I needed a way to keep track of the photos - every day out was a session. Had I made selects? Done any color corrections? Any of these RAW files make it all the way to JPEG? Was I already out in the field again?

RE: (GLYPHS)

At some point I needed to try to get my own attention, IE make note of folders with exciting images. (or was just really excited going through photos).

So I started using a glyph system that’s not really a system at all.

There’s no legend to return to, to help translate. But there are recurring marks - plus signs and circles, square-halved triangles, small marks orbiting larger ones.

Alternating colors would mean I was very excited because that took opening multiple markers up to draw.
